...and being capable of compelling others to a ridiculous extent. But worry not, Lissa is such a goodie two shoes that she wouldn't use her abilities for evil, unless her life or someone else's life was in the line. Still, her condition as a super special snowflake Spirit user vampire makes it so she has some particularities.
- Lissa can compel other vampires. To put an example, her compulsion is on par with that of an Original vampire from The Vampire Diaries and The Originals series.
- She can't compel an Original vampire though, which in a way are the parallel to strigoi vampires, whom possess a far stronger compelling ability that most moroi (but are roughly of the same caliber of a Spirit user).
- Lissa can't be compelled. At all. This goes beyond and to other forms of mind control. She's just impervious to them.
- Lissa can see auras. This will let her know if a character can use magic, although not what kind of magic they use. It also allows her to see emotional states, as well as finding irregularities in someone's personality/mind, like someone else being compelled, or just being insane. Intense emotions are easier to discern.
Unlike your more common vampires, moroi vampires do age, need to eat, sleep and aren't stronger than your run off the mill human. Actually, most of them are weaker than a human. They need to drink blood alright, but is usually in an amount that will be anything but lethal. At the same time, their bites give a high on the person getting bitten, which feels so good they might become addicted to being bitten if done too often.
The purpose of this post is mostly informative, but if you feel like you need to make extra certain that Lissa never ever compels your character, of if your character also has the distinction of being compulsion-proof, please stop by and let me know. I'll never have her compel anyone without previous discussion anyway.
